Candy Awarded Flag-Bearing Honour Middle-distance runner Candy Hawkins will start the 20th Deaflympic Games in Melbourne on Wednesday, 5th January, with the same honour her fellow Kent athlete Kelly Holmes enjoyed – by carrying the Union Jack.
